From the initial design concept to the manufacturing processes to the final surface treatments, we adhere to automotive level standards throughout the full product development process, to ensure our products have the same level of quality as the world-class motorcycles they’re assembled to.
That’s why we chose Glasurit 100 Line series paint for our new RANGER cases in Anthracite. Specially developed for the automotive industry by BASF, the Glasurit 100 Line offers superior performance while being the most eco-friendly paint of its kind on the market.
SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE
For the RANGER cases in Anthracite, we use a robust 3-layer system to create a flawless surface appearance and offer superior protection against scratches and other external influences.
- PRIMER FILLER
The primer filler makes the individual layers adhere to each other, thus ensuring the durability of the paint system. It also evens out minor irregularities and ensures that the substrate will be uniformly smooth and protect the coating against stone shipping. The primer filler creates the foundation for a high-quality seamless finish.
- TOPCOAT
The topcoat is the layer in the paint system that provides the color and catches the observer’s eye. For complex colors, it may consist of several color coats to achieve the perfect shade. The Glasurit 100 Line uses cutting-edge pigment technology that offers excellent color stability and resistance to external influences, ensuring the color won’t change over time. In addition to its visual characteristics, this layer is also designed to provide protection against external influences such as weather, scratches, and other elements in the environment.
- CLEARCOAT
As the last coat, a clearcoat layer protects the entire finish from external influences such as wind, weather or high-pressure jets at the car wash. The clearcoat also gives the finish that perfect level of gloss that gives it that “brand new” feeling, no matter how long you ride.
With this robust 3-layer system, you can be sure that the finish on your cases can withstand all the same conditions as your bike and will stay looking good as new.
ECO-FRIENDLY
In addition to offering exceptional color and surface hardness, the Glasurit 100 Line is also far advanced in terms of sustainability.
